If you keep up with Blog That Book and have read my review of Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary, then this recommendation will come as no surprise whatsoever.

I don’t have to explain my reasons for choosing this book as my recommendation for this quarter, do I? Most everyone has heard of this book and many readers appreciation of it.

This entire series of books is definitely worth your time. Some say this trilogy is the origin of Steampunk, but whether you agree or not the originality of these stories is undeniable.

This book feels so unique and different I just had to make it my recommendation.

If you’ve already read my review of this book you know there was no way I wasn’t going to make it my recommendation of the quarter, no matter what other books might have been up against it.

The Picture of Dorian Gray, I can hear you thinking, is the second 19th-century book I've suggested this year. But I assure you, it very much deserves your attention.

The Fall is not the type of novel I usually reach for, but I'm so glad I decided to try it. I think, for the unique experience this book presents to the reader, everyone should consider it.

This was an easy choice for a sugested read, this is an era of
writing everyone should try.

If you haven't dipped into nineteenth century prose and story
structure, maybe because you think it's not for you, think again.

With five of the seven books reviewed in the first three months of this year receiving a four-star rating, you may be surprised I chose probably the most flawed of the collection.

This book was simply leaps and bounds ahead of the rest when it came to picking my suggestion from this quarter’s selection.

Koonts is commonly listed as a horror writer, but I’ve never really agreed with that moniker. To my mind, he writes ‘intensity’ novels, or at least he would if that were a genre.

This book is a rather depressing outlook on life, at least the lives of the characters within. There is little sympathy for the main character from any of the secondary characters we meet along the way.
